I see a mountain as a body that is formed by the presence of and interaction with many other beings on the mountain - this interconnection is what makes the mountain, the mountain - and I wonder if I myself can become a mountain. I asked myself this question to have a guided yet free entry into a research that comes from the urgency to learn from non-human nature as a human being in times of planetary crisis and disconnection. This video work is a collection of video-documentation of on-site physical encounters and immersions in which I ask myself how to become a mountain; if I drink water from the mountain, would I become more mountain?; Could I learn my body to behave like a stone-body?; If I learn to swim like the mountain-rivers, would I become more mountainous?
